Can you find the moon walking bear, or did you get wrapped up with what you were expected to see? Everyone has their own interests and talents and I hope that you do not get so focused on the expected that you miss out on an opportunity to expand your own learning. Just as you were not expecting to see a moon walking bear in the video, you should not just do what is expected in my classes, but stretch your mind and find your own learning path. When we discuss something that interests you, challenges you, makes you think, go out and expand your own learning. Do some research, do some digging, google it, what can you bring back to class? Make learning fun and share what you are finding with others. Always feel free to talk with me, post comments on the blog, tweet (#WHSNGC), email me, stop me in the hall etc. I want to know about your moon walking bear.
*PS: I cannot take credit for the Moon Walking Bear, I was introduced to this idea during a college class with Dr. Baker at Tarleton State University this past summer. *
